We have lots of fun at our festival and any kind of help is appreciated!
There are heaps of different areas you can be involved in, from the Kids Area, helping out with Lanterns or giving us some muscle for the set up and pack up!

Saturday Morning This includes putting out signage, lanterns, organising group stalls, beautification, bollards, bins, tables and chairs, setting up marquees etc.
PARADE MARSHALLS The Welcoming Parade assembles at Bell Park at 12 noon and the Parade begins at 12:30pm. The Parade include various nationalities carrying their flags, floats, bands, street performers, vintage cars etc. It will require 5 - 6 people for a short time to direct the floats and groups before, during and at the end of the parade.
GATES Friday: We are looking for a group of 6 to 8 people to undertake the running of two gates. The gates will run from 6 pm – 10:30 pm. Saturday: We are looking for a group of 10 to 12 people to undertake the running of the 3 gates. The gates run from 11.30 am - 8 pm.
ORGANISING A FOOD STALL If cooking is your group’s strength then why not have your own food-stall? There are lots of simple multicultural foods you could serve e.g. spaghetti, nachos etc. See Community Food Application Form. This is an opportunity to raise money from your food sales.
COVID AMBASSADORS Friday night and Saturday - this will involve providing information to our festival visitors about social distancing, ensuring signage and hand sanitisers are in place and wiping down tables and chairs in seating areas.
FOCUS ON CEREALS & PULSES MARQUEE This marquee will host the Celebrity Chef, Local chefs’ Cook off, cooking demonstrations and food tasting. It will require a team of 4 or 5 to organise the afternoon events from 1:30 pm – 5:00 pm.
We are searching for local Professional and Amatuer Photographers and Videopgraphers to capture certain aspects of the event - please contact email@example.com for more information
We are requiring volunteers to help with different areas of running items and helping of setup throughout the day of the festival
We are searching for people to share the Delightful entertainment and images throughout the festival experience - please contact Emily 0427140400 for more information
Friday Night or Early Saturday Morning: This involves a clean- up of the grounds following the Talent Quest so everything is organised for the main festival on the Saturday. Saturday: This role includes emptying bins, picking up rubbish, moving chairs and gazebos if required and generally helping on the day: 11 am – close. Previously 3 people have done this job.
Merchandise: We are seaching for 3-4 people to help run the merchandise stall at the Festival - we are hoping to be launching an amazing new product!
PACK- UP The pack up of the grounds will this year be conducted on the Saturday night or Sunday morning depending on availability of volunteers. This is a large job and requires 12+ members to undertake this task.
