As part of the festival in 2021, at our inaugural Cereals & Pulses Showcase,

there will be a focus on food, particularly food produced locally.

The Dalby area is well known for its cereals and pulses - many farmers locally grow cereals and pulses and we see this as a huge opportunity to do something very unique to entertain our visitors and showcase our region at the same time.

This year, with thanks to our sponsors, we invite you to join us at our

where we will highlight Chickpeas and Mungbeans.

We have invited Celebrity Chef Matt Golinski

to help us showcase these cereals and pulses in unique cooking demonstrations and we will be inviting locals and families to join in the fun with the

High School Students’ Cooking Competition

Family Fun Show-off/Cook-off Competition

for you to sample

bIKE 'N' BLEND sMOOTHIES

Bike 'n' Blend will join us this year to incorporate another Delicious factor into our festival

with their fun and unique bikes that uses pedal power to create Delicious smoothies!

Try out some Delicious recipes and jump on for some exercise

with a DeLIGHTful reward at the end!

Meet our celebrity chef

matt golinski

Matt Golinski is a highly regarded, professional chef with a passion for creating cuisine using fresh, seasonal and local ingredients.


Well known as one of the original team members of the popular ‘Ready Steady Cook’ television series, Matt has worked as executive chef at some of Queensland’s leading restaurants over his 30-year career.


Based on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast, Matt now enjoys being a regular guest chef at festivals and events and writing food articles for InNoosa and Hello Sunshine magazines.

He is also an active member of the Slow Food movement and an ambassador for the KIDS Foundation.


In March 2018, Matt joined the Peppers Noosa Resort team as the consultant chef for ‘View by Matt Golinski’, developing menus that consolidate his knowledge and love of the producers of his region.
